Images from the Christian Resources Exhibition, Exeter 2012

CRE, Christian Resources Exhibition event, Westpoint Arena, Exeter.

Back from the Christian Resources Exhibition in deepest Devon, and yet again, impressed by the size, the organisation, the atmosphere and the sheer variety of exhibitors, events, shows, acts, and displays.
I've never photographed the Exeter CRE event before, though have worked on other amazing CRE events.
It's a real pleasure to be there; exhausting for me, but exhausting in a good way!
I walk at about 4mph, take out stops to shoot and converse, then take out brief, (and they were brief), refreshment breaks.... My walking average speed is now about 1 to 2 mph. Now walk 9-5 for 2 days carrying 2 cameras, two flashguns, 24 batteris, 2 lenses, kitchen sink, 53 years and 4 extra stone in fat! That's tiring!! It's well worth it though, not because it pays large amounts, not because it's high profile, (for a photographer.... It IS high profile for exhibitors and performers), but because of the "buzz." It really is an outstandingly vibrant event. It's fast, dynamic, colourful and deep. It provides something only CRE can provide in terms of shows: HOPE.
